Production In the Making: Cut
Hey lovelies! Thanks for coming back! Last time I saw you, we spoke about the new media I will be using. A little update from my last blog, my friends and I went out to the beach and my cat did pretty good during his photoshoot. Now it's time to reveal how I pieced them together for my commercial. For today's blog we're going to discuss all of the editing I did to get to my final result. This is the fourth and final part of my 'Lights, Camera, Action, Cut' series and I hope you enjoy reading it just as much as I enjoyed telling you about it.
After gathering all my photos and videos, it was time to put them all in to CapCut. Inserting photos and videos was pretty easy but moving the photos and videos to different spots wasn't as easy. Maybe it's just because I was using a template or just because it was my actual first time using it for a project like this. I am still working on it so hopefully I get it right quick.
What I can say is that adding my audio was probably the easiest. All I did was download the song off of a mp3 website and then I adjusted the song to the part I wanted it to play. Some of my friends had trouble finding somewhere to download their audio so they screen recorded it. I found this very funny because there was an easier way to do this but they went with a way more familiar to them.
Using an already known and viral TikTok trend has made the beginning process of editing this not difficult. I have a lot of videos I can look to for examples, which is what I find the easiest when doing something unfamiliar. I am learning more about CapCut every time I open it. After I am done editing I'll probably become proficient in CapCut editing.
That's it for now. I will get back to editing so I can show you the best commercial you will ever see of me. Thanks for joining me today lovelies and I'll see you next time. Remember to stay fabulous!
