Music Options... Too Many To Decide

 

 



            Hey lovelies!! Come in closer, quick! Alright, are you close enough? Let me let you in on a little secret. Heartbreak Anniversary wasn't my first choice. I know I know, its shocking right? I talked so highly about it and made it seem like it was the only option there for me. But that's not true because this song was still in debate until a day before my shoot date. Let me tell you a bit more about what I mean.

        Like I mentioned to you in my earlier post, I wanted to avoid doing any relationship songs and instead do a song with a different vibe. This vibe was going to be more of a neutral vibe like a girls just want to have fun vibe. And I mentioned this to my group as well since we are an all girl group. The songs I had in mind for this was California Girls by Katy Perry, Shake it Off by Taylor Swift, and I Got It by Thuy just to name a few. 

       After I brought this up to my group we sat and pondered, then another person suggested we do a relationship song which in my response I agreed to but only on one condition. I could not be the lead girl doing relationship things. I've always found those things to be very cringe so I was highly against it. Eventually, I ended up liking the idea so much I suggested that we should do a break up song as a joke at first but it later on became a solid plan. When first thinking about a specific plan, I had no idea.

        We started by suggesting any songs we had in mind. The first option was Thank You Next by Ariana Grande but we didn't because the intro needed too many guys. Then another teammate thought about a song from Rhianna which I won't name because it was too inappropriate to film with. Then when we thought all hope was lost and gone, a member of my team finally suggested Heartbreak Anniversary which we listened to and absolutely loved. I even got mad at myself not thinking about that first.

      Hey lovelies!   Let me spill the beans about my recent adventures in the world of filmmaking, specifically diving into the daunting task of crafting an opening sequence. Spoiler alert: it's been one heck of a ride, filled with ups, downs, and a whole lot of learning along the way.           So, picture this: I'm a newbie filmmaker, armed with a phone camera, an mission, and not much else.        Hey lovelies!! Welcome back to my blog, today I am going to fill you in to what a classmate had to say about my film.   There has been lots of ups and downs this process of making an opening sequence. To be completely sure of our project, I wanted to get the opinions of my peers. I showed my project to a couple of my friends and this is what they had to say. 1. My acting could use a little work - I do not claim to be the best actress in the world. Neither did I want to be in the lead role but I had no option. There were parts of the film where my acting felt awkward to them. They advised that for the next film I go for a different role. This feedback was good for me to realize things I need to work on 2.
