On Set: Tower Shops
Hey lovelies! And welcome back to my blog. As promised I will be going in to what I did once I got on the location to film. While getting to the location I got nervous because I was getting late. The agreed film time was 8:30 but due to a situation at home I was not able to get there until 8:50. When texting my group mates of my location, I felt immediately better because two of my other group mates we already late.
Before getting there, I was in charge of acquiring the props we needed for the video to film. In my car, I packed a small bouquet of flowers and 3 balloons for a valentines shoot. At first I thought that I could just leave the balloons in my back seat to avoid any problems while driving. That ended up changing because I had to tie the balloons closer to the flowers so they would not be moving around as much.
Once I got there, I met up with one of my groupmates to start coming up with ideas of where and how we were going to film. Then the rest of my group came in at separate times around each other. Once we were all gathered, I quickly went over our scenes and what we needed to film it, just to make sure we had everything.
There was going to be a cake scene where we needed cups and knives which was my job, but I had forgot having lots on my mind. So after apologizing to my group, I quickly looked up the nearest Dollar Tree and bought our remaining materials.
When I returned, our extra to help with filming was there (we needed a guy to make the break up video complete). As we were filming, I was mainly directing our "actors" and one of my group mates who was filming on how she should film. On of my favorite scenes of that day would be the car argument scene which really surprised me because I let them have freedom on how they wanted to act in it.
Over all this was a very fun experience and we had so much to laugh and talk about. It was such a hot day as well, but that's all we get in Florida. Well that's all for now lovelies! I'll see you all in my next blog where I'll go over the techy stuff. See you then and stay fabulous!
