You Heard it Right... I am Doing a Music Video!!

 


 



    Hey lovelies! Welcome back to another blog. This one is pretty exciting since I am starting on a new project. This one is going to be a music video.

   I actually do not know much about music videos other than it relates to the audio being used in the background. Other than that, I have decided to collaborate with some brilliant minds to get this done. I am working with my two friends Mariajose and Giovannia and another classmate Shabriana, whom I learned today that we share a similar music interest. 

   I decided to work with these people because I get along the most with them in the classroom. Also I have been able to observe that they are hard workers who get their work done and care about their grades. In our last project, they made very impressive commercials and I believe that if we partner together it would be great. 

   This project will give me an opportunity to work more on my directing and acting skills, but I definitely like to be behind the camera directing more. Ever since I was younger and my siblings and I would make our little silly films, I would be doing most of the directing of it. It could possibly become a passion of mine. The least, a small hobby. 

    While discussing with my group mates about our music video, we got pretty far as in ideas for what we want to do. So far we have a song, theme for our video, some drafted scenes, actors, and more. I can not wait to share with you all the confirmed details of our music video. But what fun is there in saying that now, I'll leave those details for our next blog. What I will tell you is that our song is in the contemporary r&b section. That might get your brains thinking for now.

      Hey lovelies!   Let me spill the beans about my recent adventures in the world of filmmaking, specifically diving into the daunting task of crafting an opening sequence. Spoiler alert: it's been one heck of a ride, filled with ups, downs, and a whole lot of learning along the way.           So, picture this: I'm a newbie filmmaker, armed with a phone camera, an mission, and not much else.        Hey lovelies!! Welcome back to my blog, today I am going to fill you in to what a classmate had to say about my film.   There has been lots of ups and downs this process of making an opening sequence. To be completely sure of our project, I wanted to get the opinions of my peers. I showed my project to a couple of my friends and this is what they had to say. 1. My acting could use a little work - I do not claim to be the best actress in the world. Neither did I want to be in the lead role but I had no option. There were parts of the film where my acting felt awkward to them. They advised that for the next film I go for a different role. This feedback was good for me to realize things I need to work on 2.
