Getting The Band Together

                                      



    Hey lovelies! Welcome back to another blog. This one is pretty exciting since I am starting on a new project. This one is going to be a music video.

   I actually do not know much about music videos other than it relates to the audio being used in the background. Other than that, I have decided to collaborate with some brilliant minds to get this done. I am working with my two friends Mariajose and Giovannia and another classmate Adriana, who I am working with for the first time, but she is a close friend.

   I decided to work with these people because I get along the most with them in the classroom. Also I have been able to observe that they are hard workers who get their work done and care about their grades. In our last project, they made very impressive commercials and I believe that if we partner together it would be great. 

   This project will give me an opportunity to work more on my directing and acting skills, but I definitely like to be behind the camera directing more. Ever since I was younger and my siblings and I would make our little silly films, I would be doing most of the directing of it. It could possibly become a passion of mine. The least, a small hobby. 

    While discussing with my group mates about our short film we got to a starting consensus. We decided on doing a horror short film. This would be like a murder mystery between friends. Where a group of friend would be hanging out, where is still undecided but then one of the friends would turn on everyone and end up killing someone. This would ten turn into a mystery between everyone because the identity of the killer would be hidden as everything goes back to normal between the group. Again this is just the start of where our mind is heading so nothing is official yet.

  (Title Design)       Heyy lovelies welcome back to my blog. Today we will be sketching some title designs for our opening sequence. Since our movie is in the horror genre, I wanted to stay true to the conventions of giving it an authentic feel. Based on our pitch, we decided that our title is going to be called “Murder Mystery”. With our main title (working title) , I want the majority of the fonts seen to be red. I also want to add a drippy effect to the letters, resembling blood in a way for that scary aspect.   MURDER MYSTERY! For the color, as I said I want the font to be about dark reddish color for our main title. For certain credits, like the directed by, etc. the color will be dark and bold for example   AGM PRODUCTIONS.  I also wanted to be creative and make some of the titles different sizes within one word, such as  HoRrOR or hOrRoR.  It all depends on the color of our background.  The size of the font is important so that the audience is able to read the credits clearly.

      Hey lovelies!   Let me spill the beans about my recent adventures in the world of filmmaking, specifically diving into the daunting task of crafting an opening sequence. Spoiler alert: it's been one heck of a ride, filled with ups, downs, and a whole lot of learning along the way.           So, picture this: I'm a newbie filmmaker, armed with a phone camera, an mission, and not much else. I'm all pumped up to tackle my first-ever opening sequence, thinking, "How hard could it be, right?"
