Our Pitch

                                              


                    Hey lovelies, here is our group pitch. We have came up with two pitches and have decided on one. 

1. A girl is talking to an online friend and decides to meet up with them one night and it ends up taking an unexpected turn.

2. Friends are sitting, watching the news when a missing poster of one of the friends shows up on the news. Who is that person sitting there with them and what happened with the friend?


Now we will go into further detail about our first pitch. We are interested in our first pitch because it really piques our interest in the horror field. It will be easy to film since we would film it mainly at a mall which is public and free. We have lots of ideas on how we would direct this pitch and it comes very easy to us. The only difficulty on choosing this pitch is having to find actors and if we would all be available to film at the same time. 

For our second pitch it be easy for us to film because there wouldn't be a need for an extra person. This pitch is also one that we can procure lots of ideas for and ways to make it our best project. Although, there would be some difficulties such as having to film one of us in the group as a news caster and then figuring out how to get that on a tv. We also would have to be able to use one of our houses to film in, which would be difficult as we all live in different parts and our houses are not the best to film at. These are things we have considered although this pitch was definitely one of our favorites. 


Our final pitch: After lots of discussion and waying the pros and cons of having to film both pitches, we have decided to go along with the first pitch of the online friend meet up because overall it would be a smoother process.

  (Title Design)       Heyy lovelies welcome back to my blog. Today we will be sketching some title designs for our opening sequence. Since our movie is in the horror genre, I wanted to stay true to the conventions of giving it an authentic feel. Based on our pitch, we decided that our title is going to be called “Murder Mystery”. With our main title (working title) , I want the majority of the fonts seen to be red. I also want to add a drippy effect to the letters, resembling blood in a way for that scary aspect.   MURDER MYSTERY! For the color, as I said I want the font to be about dark reddish color for our main title. For certain credits, like the directed by, etc. the color will be dark and bold for example   AGM PRODUCTIONS.  I also wanted to be creative and make some of the titles different sizes within one word, such as  HoRrOR or hOrRoR.  It all depends on the color of our background.  The size of the font is important so that the audience is able to read the credits clearly.

      Hey lovelies!   Let me spill the beans about my recent adventures in the world of filmmaking, specifically diving into the daunting task of crafting an opening sequence. Spoiler alert: it's been one heck of a ride, filled with ups, downs, and a whole lot of learning along the way.           So, picture this: I'm a newbie filmmaker, armed with a phone camera, an mission, and not much else.
