End of The Road

 




   Hey lovelies!! Last time I saw you we talked about how my peers reacted to my film. Well today I can tell you all about the changes we made.

   The first thing I mentioned in my peer review is the comments about my acting. Well to be very honest, I agree with their opinions. My acting was not the best. And although I wish we could film it again with a different leading actress, we cannot. To make up for my horrible acting, we have used several different editing techniques.

   The second comment was about the music. When getting this compliment about the film, we decided to look closer into it after seeing how well it works for us. There were parts in the film where the music could be better edited in to make a smoother film. We looked at those specific parts and made them a more enjoyable watch. 

   The last comment was concerning our filming software. This is not sponsored by iPhone so I will not comment too much lol but they deserve their credit. The filming and editing process was efficient and easy when being able to use something as accessible as a phone. I am even using it to edit this post lol. The different camera setting on an iPhone helps to get the exact experience you would want the viewer to have. 

   Filming this project was loads of fun and I was able to make lots of memories. Well lovelies… it’s getting really soon for my project to come out. I’m so excited for you to see it! Until next time, stay fabulous!

Movie Research: IT

  Hey lovelies!! Welcome back. Today you will be following me on a journey to dig deep in to a horror movie of our choice. Looking at the CLAMPS, CAMS and editing of various horror movies helps to best understand what I should have in my short film. Today I will be looking at the move IT an adaptation of the novel IT by Stephen King. I will answering some questions to get a better understanding of the movie.  1. What conventions of the genre did the movie have that you liked?     - One convention that was noticeable throughout the movie would the atmosphere. The movie creates a dark and eerie atmosphere, that makes the viewer uncomfortable. It also included one of the main aspects that give a horror movie it's name... jump scares.
